The Storekeeper is responsible for managing and maintaining inventory of raw materials (plastic resins, paper rolls), packaging materials, and finished goods. The role ensures accurate stock control, proper storage, and timely issuance of materials to support production and distribution activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials such as plastic raw materials, paper products, and packaging supplies.
Ensure proper storage of materials to maintain quality and prevent damage.
Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory management systems.
Issue materials to production departments based on approved requisitions.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
Conduct regular stock counts and participate in periodic inventory audits.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, especially for handling plastic resins and bulk paper rolls.
Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for material planning and delivery schedules.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse/store area.
Prepare reports on inventory status, stock movements, and consumption.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
Proven experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in manufacturing (plastic or paper industry is a plus).
Familiarity with inventory management systems (ERP, SAP, etc.).
Good knowledge of warehouse operations and stock control procedures.
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
