Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Mechanical Projects (T/A, Shutdown, Const. Projects)
Skills & Experience:
- Engineering bachelor’s degree (Mechanical Engineering) / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 3 to 5 years’ Quantity Survey Experience in the industry field (shutdown and T/A)
- Experience with various types of contracts, especially with ARAMCO, SABIC, and other major
clients in Saudi Arabia.
- Knowledge of projects & contracts, especially lump sum, EIS and Non-EIS remeasurable
contracts, MOC, T&M & WUR contracts.
- Proficient in MS Office; ERP skills would be an advantage.
Job Description:
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible on the assigned project, functionally reporting to the
Operations Manager and administratively reporting to Cost Control Manager adhering to the below
roles & responsibilities not limited to.
Prepares cost estimates as required on projects.
Preparation of measurement sheets & assisting in quantity take-off for RFQ/tenders.
Progress monitoring and maintaining project comprehensive records of respective day works.
Assist in estimation of direct costs for tenders / RFQ.
Comparison & evaluations of bids from subcontractors/suppliers.
Assist in claim / back charge preparation to managers, advice on contractual claims.
Measures and computes the variation order values on projects.
Prepares monthly progress payments and follow-ups.
Manage Monitor all commercial aspects of project.
Develop and maintain accurate project revenue and forecasting reports under the contracts.
Identify project risk and scope for opportunities develop the revenue along with the project team.
Possess excellent mathematical and accounting skills.
Alarming Project teams on the critical areas affecting project commercial values.
Interdepartmental coordination on project related activities.
Handling Change Orders/ variance orders and other commercial related items to the Contract.
Maintain related Register and monitoring.
Verification of vendor Bid Tabulation against the budget and suggestions accordingly to concerned.
