Food Service Company located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is looking for Procurement Manager.


Job Purpose

To lead and manage the company’s procurement function by ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services at optimal cost, quality, and reliability, while minimizing operational risks and supporting business efficiency.



Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement Strategy & Planning
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Forecast purchasing needs in coordination with operations and warehouse teams.
• Establish periodic procurement plans (monthly / quarterly).



2. Supplier Management
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers.
• Conduct periodic supplier performance evaluations (cost, quality, delivery).
• Ensure supplier compliance with company standards.



3. Negotiation & Contract Management
• Lead negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Draft, review, and manage supplier contracts and agreements.
• Ensure all contracts protect the company’s commercial and legal interests.



4. Procurement Operations
• Oversee the full procurement cycle (PR → PO → Delivery → Invoice).
• Review and approve purchase requests and orders.
• Coordinate with warehouses to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Ensure timely delivery and avoid stock shortages.



5. Cost Control & Optimization
• Analyze spending and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitor market trends and pricing benchmarks.
• Implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality.



6. Compliance & Governance
• Enforce procurement policies and procedures.
• Prevent conflicts of interest and unethical practices.
• Ensure transparency and proper documentation in all transactions.



7. Reporting & Analysis
• Prepare regular reports for senior management including:
• Total spend analysis
• Cost savings achieved
• Supplier performance
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations.



Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong experience in negotiation and contract management.
