Broast Chef (Fried Chicken Specialist)

A Broast Chef is responsible for preparing high-quality broasted (pressure-fried) chicken and related menu items while maintaining consistency, hygiene, and kitchen efficiency. The role requires expertise in marination, frying techniques, and kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and marinate chicken using standard recipes and spices
Operate broasting (pressure frying) equipment safely and efficiently
Ensure food is cooked to the correct temperature, texture, and taste
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
Monitor food stock levels and inform management when supplies are low
Follow food safety and health regulations at all times
Ensure consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation
Assist in developing new recipes or improving existing ones
Work efficiently during busy hours while maintaining quality

Requirements:

Proven experience as a broast/fried chicken chef or similar role
Knowledge of pressure frying equipment and techniques
Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good time management and teamwork skills
Physical stamina to stand for long hours

Preferred Skills:

Experience in fast food or restaurant kitchens
Knowledge of different seasoning styles and marinades
Basic inventory and kitchen management skills
