Technical Support Specialist

🧠 Job Summary

The Technical Support Specialist provides frontline technical assistance and troubleshooting support to end‑users and internal teams. You’ll ensure smooth daily IT operations by resolving hardware, software, and network issues both onsite and remotely.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network‑related issues.
Respond to support requests via helpdesk systems, phone, email, or in person.
Install, configure, and maintain desktop PCs, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
Assist with system updates, operating system installations, and software deployment.
Document incidents, resolutions, and update support logs or ticketing systems.
Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when required.
Provide excellent customer service and clear communication to users of varying technical ability.
📌 Requirements
Currently residing in Bahrain and available for immediate start.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred (not always mandatory).
Prior experience in desktop, technical, or IT support roles is advantageous.
Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Office, and basic networking (LAN/Wi‑Fi).
Customer‑service orientation and good communication skills.
⭐ Preferred/Optional Skills
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified, or ITIL Foundation.
Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
