MECHANICAL ENGINEER- Building And Infrastructure.

More than eleven years of works experience in building, infrastructure and oil & gas industry field related on pipeline, Firefighting, Piping, Pumps, Water supply system, drainage system & HVAC construction facilities have a very extensive knowledge of construction control procedures to the mechanical discipline.

Duties & Responsibilities:
 Reviewing: - Design Drawings, Specifications, BOQ, P&ID Diagram and Equipment’s Schedules etc.
 Tender document review & cost estimation.
 Interim Payment Certificate (IPC).
 Shop drawing preparation.
 HVAC load calculation, CFM calculation & static pressure calculation.
 Plumbing GPM calculation.
 Raising Technical Queries for any conflicts in design drawings.
 Coordinating and discussing technical issues with the Consultant and Client’s Engineers for day-to-day activities and progress meetings.
 Material Take-off and requesting the required materials & accessories for the project and also for the regular site activities.
 Ensure proper change control by issuing field instructions for all changes, reviewing technical queries to ensure responses are appropriate and practical, and reviewing advanced revision notices prior to issue to contractors to ensure correct use of construction resources.
 Reviewing Material Data Sheets of Material Submittals.
 Supervision of Piping: - Pre-Fabrication, Erection, leak testing, Hydro Testing & Commissioning
 Test package preparation
 Weld map preparation
 Joint mapping report (JMR)
 Red line drawing
 Work Permit Management for Safe working.
 Inspection of the work to adhere to strict Quality Maintenance.
 Overseeing of Safety Management System at the work place.
 Handling of Complete Documentation work & Record Keeping.
 Responsible of Contractors supply material as per Construction documents.
 Review/approve the project schedule and mobilization plan.
 Liaise with operations, safety, QA/QC for smooth functioning of Standard jobs.
 Foresee construct ability difficulties and prepare a solution.
 Participate in daily review meeting and report progress/areas of concern.
 Ensure by leadership and guidance that contracted works meets all practical, commercial, requirements of productivity, quality and contract target completions.
 Verifies competence of construction contractor’s personnel.
 Assures completion of the pre-commissioning works and participates with the commissioning and start up activities.
 Testing, Punch list closing, Commissioning & Handover.
 Monitoring the Reinstatement Activities (Bolt Torquing and Gasket Verification)
