Job Responsibilities:
1. Review the special construction plans, detailed drawings (line type, anchorage end, tensioning end structure) and calculation reports of the prestressing subcontractor to ensure compliance with design requirements and relevant specifications.
2. Verify the incoming inspection data and re-test reports of materials such as steel strands, anchorage devices and corrugated pipes, and review the calibration certificate and validity period of tensioning equipment.
3. Conduct on-site supervision or inspection during key processes such as prestressing tendon laying, positioning steel bar welding and bearing plate installation, and organize the acceptance of concealed works.
4. Coordinate conflicts between prestressing works and civil engineering steel bars, electromechanical pipelines, and reserved and embedded parts, ensuring that the reinforcement of the anchorage area and the reserved space at the tensioning end meet the requirements.
Job Requirements:
1. Full-time bachelor's degree or above in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering; priority will be given to those holding a valid registration certificate of the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) (Civil Engineering category).
2. More than 5 years of experience in prestressing engineering management of large-scale or super-large-scale buildings, with at least 1 experience in hotel or similar projects.
3. Possess the ability to review the subcontractor's construction plans, tensioning equipment calibration reports, material submission data and completion records, and can supervise the on-site performance of the subcontractor.
4. Able to independently review prestressing construction drawings (including line type, anchorage end, tensioning end structure), be familiar with relevant prestressing specifications such as ACI 318 or SBC, and put forward optimization suggestions.
