1. Review the detailed design drawings and technical plans of low-voltage subsystems such as structured cabling, security, building automation (BA), room control (RCU), audio and video, and fire alarm system (FAS), and put forward optimization suggestions.
2. Review the technical parameters, brand shortlist and submission documents of low-voltage equipment (servers, switches, controllers, sensors, cameras, etc.) to ensure compliance with hotel management company and Saudi standards.
3. Coordinate the reservation, embedding, point layout and cable tray routing between low-voltage electrical systems and high-voltage electrical systems, civil engineering and hardcover through BIM or drawings, and issue technical instructions.
4. Formulate the joint commissioning plan for the full low-voltage system (including system integration and linkage logic testing), supervise the subcontractor's commissioning process and review the commissioning report.
5. Ensure that low-voltage design, construction and commissioning meet SBC, HCIS security instructions, civil defense bureau requirements and international brand hotel low-voltage technical guidelines.
6. Compile the three-level schedule for the low-voltage professional, review the technical data, completion drawings and operation and maintenance manuals submitted by the subcontractor.
7. Be on-site during the peak period of low-voltage pipeline installation, system commissioning and before the hotel management company's opening inspection to solve major technical problems and participate in acceptance.
Job Requirements
1. Full-time bachelor's degree or above (master's degree is preferred) in Electronic Engineering, Communication Engineering, Building Electrical and Intelligentization or related majors, must hold a valid registration certificate of the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
2. As a low-voltage person in charge, have more than 10 years of experience in the entire process of low-voltage engineering of large-scale or super-large-scale public buildings (construction area ≥ 100,000 ㎡, such as hotels, commercial complexes, hospitals, stadiums, etc.), covering detailed design, comprehensive pipeline, equipment installation, full-system commissioning and hotel management company acceptance.
3. Proficient in subsystems such as structured cabling, computer network, video surveillance, access control, building automation (BA/BMS), room control system (RCU), audio and video system, information release, parking lot management and fire alarm system (FAS), able to independently solve multi-system integration and linkage logic problems.
4. Familiar with the electrical related parts of SBC Saudi Building Code (based on IEC standards), HCIS 2017 instructions, Saudi Aramco standards (if applicable) and low-voltage technical guidelines of international hotel management companies such as Marriott and Hilton, able to lead the review of detailed drawings and successfully pass the acceptance by local supervision and civil defense bureau.
5. Have experience in managing a low-voltage technical team of more than 5 foreign and Chinese personnel, and be able to fluently use English to conduct technical docking and negotiations with owners, supervision, hotel management companies, electromechanical general contractors and Saudi government regulatory authorities.
6. Led the joint commissioning of the full low-voltage system for no less than 3 large-scale public building projects, ensuring that the one-time acceptance pass rate is ≥ 90%.
