Procurement Quality Control
• Review and approve Material Submittals, Technical Data Sheets, and vendor documentation
• Ensure all materials meet project specifications, standards, and client requirements
• Coordinate with engineering for technical compliance validation
Vendor Inspection & Evaluation
• Conduct or coordinate vendor inspections and factory acceptance tests (FAT)
• Monitor vendor manufacturing processes and quality plans
• Evaluate vendor quality systems and certifications (ISO, etc.)
• Maintain an Approved Vendor List (AVL) in coordination with procurement
Material Inspection & Receiving
• Perform incoming material inspections at site/warehouse
• Verify compliance with approved submittals and purchase orders
• Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for deviations
• Ensure proper documentation (MTCs, test certificates, warranties)
Documentation & Compliance
• Maintain Material Inspection Reports (MIRs) and QA/QC records
• Ensure traceability of materials and equipment
• Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies where required
• Ensure adherence to project standards (e.g., Aramco/SABIC where applicable)
Coordination with Procurement
• Review Purchase Orders (POs) for technical compliance clauses
• Support procurement in technical bid evaluations
• Ensure quality requirements are clearly defined in vendor contracts
Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions
• Identify quality issues and raise NCRs
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Liaise with vendors to resolve quality concerns
Reporting
• Prepare quality reports related to procurement activities
• Track vendor performance and quality KPIs
• Provide regular updates to QA/QC and procurement leadership
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil)
• ARAMCO APPROVALS AS PQCS IS MANDATORY.
• 5–8 years of experience in QA/QC or procurement quality
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Construction in KSA/GCC preferred
