*Welding QC / Welding Inspector*
Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering ,CSWIP with *3 years of UAE experience* in welding quality control and inspection for oil & gas, construction, and fabrication projects. Skilled in ensuring compliance with international codes, project specifications, and client requirements.
*Key Skills & Responsibilities:*
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection of weld joints, fit-up, and materials
- Witness and monitor WQT, PQR, WPS qualification and welder performance tests
- Interpret drawings, WPS, and ITPs to verify welding activities on site
- Coordinate and review NDT activities: RT, UT, MPI, DPT
- Maintain inspection records, prepare daily QC reports, and compile final dossiers
- Familiar with ASME Sec IX, AWS D1.1, API 1104, and Aramco standards
- Experience with CS, SS, LTCS materials and processes: SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, SAW
