Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Supervisor – Plumbing & Fire Fighting Systems to oversee, coordinate, and manage all site activities related to the installation, testing, and commissioning of plumbing and fire protection systems. The successful candidate will lead site teams, including technicians, foremen, and subcontractors, ensuring high-quality workmanship and timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Supervision & Execution:
Supervise daily site activities related to plumbing and fire fighting systems, including:
Cold and hot water supply systems
Drainage, Waste & Vent (DWV) systems
Irrigation systems
Fire fighting systems (sprinkler systems, standpipes, fire pump rooms, foam systems)
Oversee testing and commissioning activities, including:
Hydrostatic pressure testing
Flushing and cleaning of pipe networks
Fire fighting flow and pressure testing
Drainage testing
Ensure all installations comply with approved shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
Coordinate with other trades for pipe routing, equipment installation, supports, sleeves, and openings.
Monitor manpower productivity and allocate resources effectively.
Prepare and submit daily progress reports, including site issues, manpower status, and material requirements, to the Project Manager.
Request materials in accordance with approved shop drawings and project specifications.
Ensure proper and safe use of tools, equipment, and machinery at all times.
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical / Plumbing / Fire Fighting Systems
Minimum 5–8 years of relevant site experience, preferably in GCC countries
Strong hands-on experience in plumbing and fire fighting systems installation
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and technical schematics
Proven leadership and team management skills
Nationality: Sudan only

Strong site supervision and coordination abilities
Practical knowledge of plumbing and fire fighting materials and installation methods
Ability to resolve site issues and work under pressure
Good communication skills
Basic reporting and documentation skills
