Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Protection Technician to perform maintenance, inspection, and repair of fire protection systems. The ideal candidate will ensure all systems are functioning effectively and comply with safety standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and testing of fire protection systems
Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm, firefighting, and suppression systems
Maintain and service sprinkler systems, fire pumps, hydrants, and extinguishers
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
Prepare maintenance reports and documentation
Respond to emergency repair requests when required.
Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in fire protection system maintenance
Strong knowledge of fire alarm and firefighting systems
Familiarity with NFPA standards and safety codes
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Relevant certification or technical diploma preferred
Preferred Skills:
Experience in commercial or industrial maintenance projects
Good communication and teamwork skills
