HEAD PASTRY CHEF (URGENT)

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to oversee the production and innovation of all pastry and dessert items across our 5 caf? branches in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will lead a team, ensure consistency and quality, and bring creativity to our menu while managing inventory, costs, and kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Menu Development:
Create and regularly update pastry and dessert menus that reflect seasonal trends and customer preferences.
Introduce new items in alignment with the caf? brand and vision.
Production Oversight:
Manage daily production of pastries and baked goods across all branches.
Maintain consistency in quality, presentation, and taste.
Team Leadership:
Train, mentor, and supervise pastry staff in each branch.
Schedule staff and coordinate workflow across multiple locations.
Quality & Hygiene:
Ensure all pastry operations comply with health and safety regulations.
Implement and enforce hygiene and cleanliness standards.
Inventory & Cost Control:
Oversee procurement of ingredients and manage stock levels efficiently.
Monitor wastage and implement cost-saving measures.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the Executive Chef, Branch Managers, and Front-of-House teams to ensure smooth service.
Attend management meetings and contribute to strategic planning.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, ideally in a multi-location setup.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Knowledge of modern and classic pastry techniques.
Ability to manage time and multi-task effectively.
