Lifting & Rigging Supervisor Rigger 1

Coordinate and supervise all lifting activities in accordance with legislation,
regulations, and codes of practice, ensuring presence during all lifting operations.
Ensure compliance of all lifting operations with regulatory requirements,
prioritizing the health and safety of employees and site personnel.
Review the Lifting Plan, risk control measures, and safe lifting procedures
prior to commencing any lifting operations.
Verify ground conditions for safety before mobile crane operations.
Engage certified riggers, signalmen, and appointed personnel in all lifting
operations involving mobile and overhead cranes.
Selecting and setting up appropriate cranes, lifts, or hoists for each task to
ensure safety and efficiency.
Safety Oversight: Ensure that all lifting operations are conducted safely
and comply with relevant safety regulations, standards, and procedures.
This includes assessing risks associated with lifting activities and
implementing appropriate control measures.
Planning and Coordination: Plan and coordinate lifting activities, including
scheduling equipment, resources, and personnel. This involves liaising with
other teams or departments to ensure that lifting operations do not
interfere with other activities.
Equipment Inspection and Maintenance: Oversee the inspection,
maintenance, and certification of lifting equipment to ensure that it is in
good working condition and meets safety standards. This may involve
conducting pre-use checks and coordinating with maintenance teams for
repairs or servicing.
