Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
Test and troubleshoot faults in:
Protection relays
Control circuits
Power transformers
Carry out switching operations (energizing/de-energizing equipment).
Monitor voltage, current, and load conditions.
Ensure all work follows safety standards (LOTO, PPE, permits).
Read and understand:
Electrical drawings
Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
Assist in commissioning of new substations and equipment.
Good understanding of high-voltage systems (11kV, 33kV, 132kV, etc.)
Knowledge of protection systems and relay operation
Ability to use testing tools (multimeter, megger, relay test kit)
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Teamwork and communication
