Responsibilities:
•Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand the specific ICT /ELV system requirements for the project. Identify the scope of ICT/ELV systems, including security, communication, audio-visual, and data systems.
•Vendor Research and Selection: Research and identify potential ICT/ELV equipment and system vendors or suppliers. Evaluate vendors based on their expertise, reputation, product quality, and pricing.
•Request for Proposal (RFP) Development: Create detailed RFP documents that outline project objectives, technical specifications, performance criteria, and procurement terms. Specify any customization or integration requirements for ICT /ELV systems.
•Sourcing and Bid Evaluation: Invite qualified ICT/ELV system vendors to submit proposals in response to the RFP. Review and assess vendor proposals, ensuring they align with technical and functional requirements. Consider factors such as cost, scalability, reliability, and support services.
•Cost Analysis and Negotiations: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contractual agreements with selected vendors. Conduct a cost-benefit analysis to ensure the chosen ICT/ELV solutions provide value for the project.
•Contract Management: Draft, review, and finalize contracts with the selected vendor(s).
Ensure that contract terms align with project objectives, quality standards, and budget constraints. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure vendor performance.
•Quality Assurance and Compliance: Monitor and enforce compliance with contract terms and project specifications. Work with quality assurance teams to ensure that ELV systems meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
•Inventory Management: Maintain oversight of ICT/ELV equipment and materials procurement.
Ensure that inventory levels are adequate to meet project requirements without excess or shortages.
•Budget Management: Manage the procurement budget, tracking expenses and cost variances.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and control expenditures to stay within budget
•Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to ICT/ELV procurement and implementation.
Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
•Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of procurement activities, contracts, and vendor communications. Provide regular updates and reports on procurement progress to project stakeholders and management.
•Post-Implementation Support: Coordinate with technical teams to ensure a smooth transition to the operational phase. Address any post-implementation issues and work with the vendor to resolve them.
•Technology Trends and Innovation: Stay informed about the latest trends and innovations in ELV systems and technology. Recommend upgrades or enhancements to ELV systems as needed to improve functionality and efficiency.
•Sustainability and Energy Efficiency: Promote the selection of ELV solutions that align with sustainability and energy efficiency goals. Encourage the use of environmentally friendly technologies and practices.
•Technology Trends and Innovation: Stay informed about the latest trends and innovations in BMS technology. Recommend upgrades or enhancements to the BMS system as needed.
