Duties & Responsibilities:
Working with the estimating team to handover at the start of the project
? Manage end-to-end delivery of interior fit out projects for restaurants, caf?s, and F&B outlets.
? Coordinate site activities, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to meet project milestones.
• Assisting with developing and preparing main contract documents
• Negotiating and preparing guarantees with the client representatives
• To correspond and meet with the client, and Team Liaison on a regular basis to ensure valuations are updated and the final account is always agreed upon
• Ensure the contract is conducted and completed within the boundaries of the contract documentation
• Ensure project is protected against liability for damages and penalties
• Maximize entitlements and recovery of costs incurred
• Visit site periodically, communicating with the Project Manager regarding progress and variations
• Measure and value new rates and variations
• Continuously update the estimate of the final contract value
• Sending Contractor packages for pricing and evaluation before placement of order
• Evaluate tender responses, adjudicate, negotiate and appoint Sub Contractors, if required.
• Generate Sub‐Contractor documentation for payments, contra charges and final accounts
• Monitor and report on costs from allowable and budgets
• Oversee the monitoring of labour and materials
• To carry out value engineering in the project where necessary
Job Requirements:
Education: Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related area.
Experience: Having more than 8 years of professional experience as QS in Interiors/ Fit Out Experience working with a Pre‐Contracts team
Equip financially skills, data analysis and reporting skills.
Others Proactive and committed attitude at all times Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines Having computer skills.
