We are looking for a skilled and proactive professional to lead bookkeeping and payroll service engagements, manage client portfolios, supervise team members, and ensure high-quality service delivery.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and payroll service engagements for a portfolio of clients across different industries
• Review bookkeeping records, reconciliations, payroll workings, and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Supervise and support team members, including task allocation, training, and performance follow-up
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities
• Oversee payroll processing to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Monitor compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, payroll regulations, and internal procedures
• Coordinate with clients to resolve accounting and payroll-related matters and obtain required information on a timely basis
• Prepare and review management reports, financial schedules, payroll reports, and other client deliverables
• Assist in improving bookkeeping, payroll, and internal workflow processes and controls
• Support budgeting, planning, and resource allocation within the department
• Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to overall service excellence
Preferred Profile:
• Relevant experience in bookkeeping, accounting, payroll services, or outsourced finance services
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Strong knowledge of modern accounting systems and digital finance tools
• Good understanding of payroll processes and financial reporting
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines effectively
• Professional qualification or progress toward one is an advantage
