Job Descriptions:
A Business Development Electrical Engineer drives company growth by merging technical electrical expertise with strategic sales and marketing. The Integrates technical electrical expertise with strategic business planning to develop, evaluate, and execute capital projects, often requiring over 7-8 years of experience. They drive investment opportunities, conduct techno-economic studies, and define project scopes for major energy programs, ensuring high-value commercial outcomes and compliance with standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Verifies and directs front End Engineering Design (FEED) and detailed design packages for oil and gas projects.
2. Integrates technical engineering with financial/ business judgment for strategic decision-making requiring stakeholder management.
3. Identify and secure new opportunities within the construction, contracting, and industrial sectors.
4. Analyze tender documents, prepare technical commercial offers, and design solutions for clients.
5. Cultivate long term relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors to expand market presence.
6. Initiate and lead electrical power system studies, design basis scoping papers, and economic justifications.
7. Identify investment opportunities and develop alternatives for major oil gas and chemical programs.
8. Conduct techno-economic studies to establish project business cases and evaluate investment viability.
9. Lead or assist in due diligence, valuation analysis, and project approval processes.
10. Review Feed (Front-End engineering Design) and detailed design packages to ensure compliance with Aramco and international Electrical Standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
2. Typically 7-8 Years in years in experience electrical engineering within the technical sales, contracting or project engineering. oil and gas refining , or petrochemical industry. (ARAMCO, KSA REGION & PETRO RABIGH)
3. Strong Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, Poer system studies, equipment specifications, and financial valuation.
4. Proven ability to create executive-level briefings, memos, and presentations.
5. Strong communication (Often English and Arabic) technical proficiency in electrical systems (e.g. Switchgear, renewable energy) and proficiency in tender management.
6. Often requires a valid Driving License for Client site visits.
