Key Responsibilities

Sourcing & Evaluation: Identify, assess, and select suppliers based on technical capability, quality, cost, and reliability.
Technical Purchasing: Interpret engineering blueprints and specifications to ensure materials meet project requirements.
Negotiation & Contracting: Negotiate contract terms, pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to maximize cost savings.
Order Management: Prepare, issue, and manage purchase orders (POs) and follow up to ensure on-time delivery.
Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Monitor supplier performance and manage documentation.
Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with freight, customs, and logistics teams to ensure smooth material delivery.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and production to optimize inventory levels.


Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical) or a related technical field.

Experience: Usually 5+ years in procurement, engineering, or construction sectors.
Skills: Strong negotiation skills, technical proficiency, proficiency in ERP software/Microsoft Office, and strong analytical skills.
