Job Title: Steel Structural Fabricator
Location: Riyadh, KSA
Job Summary:
The Steel Structural Fabricator is responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and fitting steel components to build structural frameworks such as beams, columns, trusses, platforms, and supports. The role requires interpreting technical drawings, using fabrication equipment, and ensuring accuracy and quality before welding and erection.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret fabrication drawings, shop drawings, and blueprints
Measure, mark, and layout steel materials according to specifications
Cut steel using tools such as oxy-fuel cutting, plasma cutting, and saw machines
Drill, punch, and grind steel components as required
Fit and assemble structural members (beams, plates, channels, pipes)
Align and tack components prior to welding
Verify dimensions, tolerances, sweep, camber and squareness of assemblies
Operate fabrication equipment (cutting machines, grinders, presses, etc.)
Coordinate with welders, supervisors, and QA/QC inspectors
Perform basic visual checks to ensure fit-up quality before welding
Maintain material traceability and identification (heat numbers, tags)
Follow safety procedures and proper handling of materials and tools

Follow company quality procedures and project specifications
Qualifications:
High school or technical diploma in fabrication, welding, or related field
2–5+ years of experience in steel fabrication shop or construction
Ability to read drawings and understand fabrication symbols
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of steel fabrication processes and tools
Good measurement and layout skills (tape, square, level)
Familiarity with different steel sections (I-beams, channels, angles, plates)
Ability to work with tight tolerances and specifications
Basic knowledge of welding fit-up requirements
