We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate must have specific experience in the heavy equipment rental and manpower supply industries.
Key Requirements:
Experience: 6+ years of core accounting experience.
Software Proficiency: Must be an expert in Quickdice ERP/ Tally Prime accounting software.
Industry Experience: Prior experience in Heavy Equipment Renting and Manpower Supply is mandatory.
Target Candidates: This position is open to South Indians, with a strong preference for candidates from Kerala.

1. Job Summary
The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial information by recording, verifying, and consolidating transactions. In an SME environment, this role acts as the bridge between day-to-day operations and strategic financial reporting. He will oversee the full accounting cycle, manage tax compliance, and provide the leadership with data-driven insights to help the business grow.

2. Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
• Month-End/Year-End Close: Lead the closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger; perform complex bank and account reconciliations.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze variances between actuals and budgets; identify trends and provide explanations to management.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor daily cash balances and prepare weekly/monthly cash flow forecasts.
Compliance & Tax
• Tax Filing: Prepare and file local, state, and federal taxes (Sales Tax, VAT/GST, Corporate Tax, etc.).
• Audit Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and ensure all documentation is ready for year-end reviews.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all financial practices comply with local GAAP (or IFRS) and company policies.

Operational Oversight
• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee (or directly handle) the AP and AR functions to ensure vendors are paid on time and collections are healthy.
• Payroll Support: Review or process payroll, including benefits administration and payroll tax compliance.
• Fixed Assets: Maintain the fixed asset register and calculate depreciation.
Process Improvement & Strategy
• Internal Controls: Design and implement internal controls to prevent errors and fraud.
• Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of the annual operating budget and departmental forecasts.
• ERP/Systems Management: Optimize the use of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage) to automate manual tasks.
