Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and local regulatory requirements in Bahrain.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Handle accounts payable and receivable efficiently
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
Ensure compliance with Bahrain financial regulations and VAT requirements
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Coordinate with auditors and support audit processes
Manage payroll processing and related accounting entries
Monitor and improve internal financial controls
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel
Familiarity with VAT regulations in Bahrain
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and organizational abilities
