Key Responsibilities
Install and wire electrical components of chiller systems (motors, starters, control panels)
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on chillers and related HVAC equipment
Diagnose and repair electrical faults in compressors, pumps, and control circuits
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
Test and calibrate sensors, relays, contactors, and protection devices
Monitor system performance and ensure optimal energy efficiency
Assist in commissioning and startup of new chiller units
Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
Maintain service reports and maintenance records
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, especially chillers (air-cooled & water-cooled)
Solid understanding of electrical circuits, motors, and control systems
Familiarity with control panels, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), and PLC basics
Ability to use diagnostic tools (multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester)
Troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
Awareness of safety practices in high-voltage environments
Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering / HVAC / Electro-mechanical field
Technical certification in HVAC or chiller maintenance (preferred)
2–5 years of relevant experience in HVAC or chiller systems
