We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Technician to join our maintenance team. The candidate will be responsible for handling mechanical maintenance activities, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth operation of plant equipment.
Requirements:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Minimum 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance (steel plant preferred)
Strong knowledge in mechanical systems and equipment
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage tasks independently
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for mechanical equipment
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems and components
Maintain and service pneumatic systems (valves, cylinders, compressors, etc.)
Inspect, repair, and align rotating equipment (motors, pumps, gearboxes)
Read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics
Ensure proper lubrication and maintenance of machinery
Coordinate with engineers and other departments during maintenance activities
Follow safety standards and company procedures at all times
Preferred Skills:
Experience in pipe mills, slitters, or heavy industrial machines
Knowledge of bearings, seals, and power transmission systems
