Job Summary:
We Basmah Contracting Company Ltd. are seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer with proven Saudi Aramco project experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and ensuring compliance with Saudi Aramco standards and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco HSE standards, procedures, and guidelines.
Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive measures.
Monitor daily site activities to ensure safe work practices are followed.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety trainings, and awareness programs.
Prepare and maintain HSE reports, incident reports, and documentation.
Investigate accidents/incidents and recommend preventive actions.
Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment on site.
Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients on safety matters.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in Saudi Arabia.
Mandatory experience in Saudi Aramco projects.
Valid certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent (preferred/required).
Strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco HSE standards and procedures.
Good communication and reporting skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Other Requirements:
Transferable Iqama is mandatory.
Immediate availability is preferred.
