Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Instrument Technician to perform calibration, loop checking, and maintenance of instrumentation systems on custody metering skids. The candidate should have hands-on experience in oil & gas environments and a strong understanding of field instruments.
Key Responsibilities
Perform calibration of: Pressure transmitters, Temperature transmitters, Flow instruments
Conduct loop checking (4–20 mA signals)
Troubleshoot and resolve instrumentation faults
Assist in Gas Chromatograph (GC) and analyzer calibration
Inspect junction boxes, cabling, and field connections
Maintain accurate calibration records and documentation
Technical Scope
Field instruments
Analog & digital signal systems
Basic checks of control valves
Flow measurement systems
Requirements
Diploma in Instrumentation or Control Engineering
3–5 years of experience in the oil & gas industry
Hands-on experience in calibration and loop testing
Familiarity with HART communicator
Knowledge of safety procedures and permit systems
