A Textiles Sales Lady (Sales Representative/Associate) is responsible for promoting and selling fabrics, garments, or apparel to customers, ensuring a high level of customer service, and maintaining the visual appeal of the sales area. They often work in retail boutiques, textile wholesale stores or in outdoor sales roles to build client relationships and achieve sales targets.
Core Responsibilities
Customer Service: Greeting customers, understanding their needs, offering advice on fabric types, trends, and quality, and delivering personalized service.
Sales Generation: Actively selling products, processing orders, negotiating prices/contracts, and achieving assigned sales targets.
Product Knowledge: Maintaining detailed knowledge of materials, fabric properties (e.g., silk, cotton, synthetic), care instructions, and garment styles to guide customers effectively.
Visual Merchandising: Assembling and maintaining product displays, restocking shelves, and ensuring the sales floor is clean and attractive.
Inventory & Administration: Checking stock levels, reordering merchandise, preparing sales reports, and using POS systems for transactions.
Client ling & Networking: Identifying potential new customers and maintaining long-term relationships with existing clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong Communication: Ability to articulate product benefits and build rapport with customers.
Fashion/Textile Knowledge: A keen eye for textiles, colors, patterns, and fashion trends.
Sales Techniques: Proficient in upselling, cross-selling, and closing deals.
Interpersonal Skills: Patience and ability to handle difficult customer situations.
Experience: Previous retail or fashion experience is often preferred.
Typical Physical Demands
Handling and moving heavy fabric rolls or clothing items.
Standing for long periods during a retail shift.
11 to 12 Hours Duty.
Weekly Half day off.
Salary BHD150.000.
