Job Summary:
We are looking for experienced and physically fit Water Tank Cleaners to join our team. The role involves cleaning and disinfecting underground and overhead water tanks while strictly following safety procedures, especially for confined space entry.
Key Responsibilities:
Drain, clean, and disinfect water tanks (underground & overhead)
Remove sludge, dirt, and contaminants manually and using equipment
Perform scrubbing, high-pressure washing, and chemical disinfection
Handle and apply cleaning chemicals such as Sodium Hypochlorite safely
Operate equipment like submersible pumps, pressure washers, and wet vacuums
Follow confined space entry procedures and safety protocols
Assist in basic water quality testing (chlorine, pH, etc.)
Maintain cleaning reports and checklists
Requirements:
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in water tank cleaning or similar work
Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces
Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Understanding of safety practices (confined space work is a plus)
Ability to follow instructions and work in a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Confined Space Entry Training Certificate
Experience in facilities management or industrial cleaning
Knowledge of safety standards based on World Health Organization or local regulations
Safety Requirements:
Must use PPE (helmet, gloves, safety boots, respirator, SCBA)
Ability to work with safety systems such as gas detectors, harness, and lifelines
Strict adherence to company safety policies
