Scope of Work – Generator Electrical Technician (On Vessel)
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Jeddah (Onboard Vessel)
Engagement: Rental Basis
Responsibilities:
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems of marine diesel generators.
Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) for generator electrical components as per manufacturer standards.
Diagnose faults in generator electrical circuits, wiring, and control systems.
Carry out electrical load testing and monitor generator performance parameters.
Maintain, test, and repair control panels, AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator), and protection relays/systems.
Verify and support generator synchronization systems (electrical side only).
Repair/replace defective electrical components such as:
Alternator windings (basic level checks)
Cables and wiring
Circuit breakers
Contactors and relays
Sensors and gauges (electrical)
Perform insulation resistance testing (IR), continuity tests, and voltage checks.
Ensure proper functioning of earthing/grounding systems.
Maintain accurate electrical maintenance logs, reports, and test records.
Ensure compliance with marine electrical safety standards and procedures.
Coordinate with onboard crew and project team for electrical maintenance planning and shutdowns.

Scope of Work – Motor Repair Technician (On Vessel)
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Jeddah (Onboard Vessel)
Engagement: Rental Basis
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair electric motors (AC/DC) onboard.
- Perform rewinding, insulation testing, and bearing replacement.
- Troubleshoot motor control systems including starters, VFDs, and panels.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of motors.
- Carry out alignment, vibration checks, and performance testing.
- Identify faults such as overheating, short circuits, and mechanical failures.
- Maintain proper documentation of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Ensure all work complies with marine safety and operational standards.
- Support installation and commissioning of motors when required.
