Senior ASME Inspector (5–10+ Years Experience) – Saudi Arabia

I’m Jijo from Dammam, Saudi Arabia. We are looking for a highly experienced ASME Inspector from Tamil Nadu, India, to handle complete QA/QC operations in our fabrication division.
Job Location: Saudi Arabia
Company Scope: Steel fabrication / Pressure parts / Piping
Visa, FAT & Medical: Provided

Core Requirements:
Minimum 5–10+ years of experience in QA/QC inspection in fabrication, pressure vessels, piping, or structural steel.
Strong exposure to shop & site inspections, FAT, and client coordination.
Fully capable of handling QA/QC documentation, audits, and inspections independently.
Technical Knowledge & Standards (Mandatory):
ASME Codes:
ASME Section I – Power Boilers
ASME Section II – Materials
ASME Section V – NDT
ASME Section VIII Div.1 – Pressure Vessels
ASME Section IX – Welding Qualifications
ASME B31.3 – Process Piping
AWS & Welding Standards:
AWS D1.1 / D1.5 – Structural Welding Codes
Full knowledge of WPS, PQR, WPQ qualification & control
NDT Standards:
ASNT / SNT-TC-1A or ISO 9712
Hands-on coordination & interpretation of:
RT (Radiography Testing)
UT (Ultrasonic Testing)
MT (Magnetic Particle Testing)
PT (Dye Penetrant Testing)
VT (Visual Testing)
ISO & Quality Standards:
ISO 9001 – Quality Management System
Familiar with internal audits, external audits, and certification audits
Other Relevant Standards:
API standards (API 510 / API 570 – preferred)
ASTM Material Standards
SSPC / NACE – Surface preparation & coating inspection
Aramco Standards (preferred for KSA experience)
Inspection & QA/QC Responsibilities:
Preparation and review of:
ITP (Inspection Test Plan)
QCP (Quality Control Plan)
Method Statements
Conduct:
Material receiving inspection & MTC verification
Fit-up and dimensional inspection
Welding inspection at all stages
NDT coordination and report validation
Hydrotest / pressure test witnessing
Maintain full traceability system for materials and welds
Preparation of final dossiers / MDR documentation
Strong experience in FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) handling
Ability to face client, TPI, and third-party audits at any time
NCR handling, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
Skills & Other Requirements:
Excellent English communication (spoken & written)
Strong reporting and documentation skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Team-oriented but capable of independent decision-making
GCC / Saudi experience is a strong advantage
Preferred Certifications:
CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2 or AWS-CWI
NDT Level II (RT/UT/MT/PT)
Lead Auditor (ISO 9001 – added advantage)
