We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor with 6–8 years of experience in architectural projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and updating BOQs, quantities, cost estimates, and payment applications, ensuring accuracy, compliance with project drawings/specifications, and proper cost control.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare quantity take-offs based on architectural drawings (plans, elevations, sections, details).
Develop and update BOQ/Measurement sheets according to design changes.
Review and verify quantities for consistency with drawings and specifications.
Prepare cost estimates for project stages (as required by the scope).
Prepare and review progress claims and final quantities for submission.
Review and manage variations (variations/orders/extras & deductions) related to architectural works.
Coordinate with architects, consultants, site engineers, and suppliers as needed.
Ensure proper documentation and tracking of all measurement and cost data.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Engineering.
6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in quantity surveying for architectural works.
Strong knowledge of architectural drawings, detailing, and specifications.
Ability to prepare accurate measurements and cost-related reports.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Skills / Tools (Optional)
Proficiency in Excel (required) and/or AutoCAD.
Experience with quantity surveying software such as PlanSwift (or similar), if applicable.
