Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Trim and Molding: Installing crown molding, baseboards, casing around doors and windows, and decorative trim.
Cabinetry and Built-ins: Constructing, assembling, and installing custom cabinets, shelving, and built-in furniture.
Door and Hardware Installation: Hanging interior and exterior doors and installing hardware like locks, handles, and hinges.
Structural Finishing: Installing flooring (wood, laminate) and assembling intricate staircase components.
Site Preparation and Measurement: Reading blueprints, measuring, and marking layouts to ensure precise fits.
Material Shaping: Cutting, shaping, and smoothing materials using hand tools, power saws, and routers.
Quality Control: Inspecting completed work for imperfections (dents, scratches) and repairing or replacing damaged items.
Safety Compliance: Maintaining a clean workspace and adhering to all safety regulations.
