We are a premier player in the lubricants sector, committed to delivering high-performance products across the region. We are seeking a high-caliber Plant Manager to spearhead our manufacturing operations in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
This is a pivotal leadership role. The successful candidate will not only manage the day-to-day functions of our blending and production facility but will also act as a catalyst for innovation, efficiency, and world-class safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence: Direct all aspects of plant operations, including production scheduling, blending processes, maintenance, and logistics to ensure seamless output.
Strategic Leadership: Foster a culture of high performance. Supervise, mentor, and develop a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring robust performance management and succession planning.
Quality & Compliance: Uphold rigorous HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and ensure all products meet ISO quality certifications and local regulatory requirements.
Process Optimization: Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to enhance yield, minimize downtime, and reduce operational expenditure without compromising quality.
Supply Chain Integration: Oversee inventory management and collaborate closely with procurement and supply chain partners to ensure raw material availability and streamlined distribution.
Reporting & Analytics: Utilize data-driven insights to prepare comprehensive production reports and KPIs for senior management review.
Candidate Profile
Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Professional Experience: 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within the manufacturing sector—ideally within lubricant blending, petrochemicals, or Oil & Gas.
Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of chemical blending processes, automated production lines, and preventive maintenance frameworks.
Core Competencies: Exceptional problem-solving skills, financial acumen (budget management), and the ability to lead complex teams in a fast-paced environment.
