Aramco-approved QC Inspectors for Batch Plants in Saudi Arabia ensure concrete/asphalt production meets rigorous Aramco standards (SAES/SAMSS), ASTM, and ACI codes. Responsibilities include inspecting raw materials, calibrating batch plants, monitoring mix designs, and performing fresh concrete testing (slump, temperature).
This role requires a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (or equivalent), 5-10 years of experience, and Aramco CBT approval.
Key Responsibilities
Batch Plant Inspection: Perform daily inspections of batch plant equipment, ensuring calibration and compliance with Aramco standards.
Material Quality Control: Inspect and approve raw materials (cement, aggregates, admixtures) and ensure proper storage and handling.
Mix Design & Testing: Review approved mix designs, manage trial mixes, and witness third-party lab testing for compressive strength.
Production Monitoring: Monitor batching sequences, slump, temperature, and fresh concrete properties during truck loading.
Documentation: Prepare Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Material Approval Requests (MARs), and maintain detailed quality records for turnover dossiers.
NCR Management: Handle Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), identify quality issues, and implement corrective actions.
Mandatory Requirements
Certification: Saudi Aramco Approval (SAP #) and successful completion of the CBT (Computer Based Testing) for Batch Plant inspection.
Experience: 5-10 years of intensive experience in concrete/asphalt batching plant QC within large-scale construction projects.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical diploma.
Standards Knowledge: Detailed knowledge of ASTM, ACI, and AASHTO standards, along with Aramco’s Quality Management System (QMS).
Skills: Expertise in Concrete Technology, QA/QC documentation, and, in some cases, ACI concrete inspection certification.
