Operations Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to ensure smooth, timely, and productive workflows.
Inventory Control: Manage stock levels, conduct regular inventory audits, perform cycle counts, and verify accuracy between physical stock and digital records.
Staff Management & Leadership: Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse employees, including creating schedules based on workload.
Safety and Compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA), conduct inspections, and ensure a secure working environment.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure warehouse machinery and fleets (e.g., forklifts) are maintained and operated safely.
Process Improvement: Review and optimize procedures for efficiency, such as improving warehouse layout or order processing times.
