Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Instrument / Metering Engineer to oversee preventive maintenance activities for custody metering systems in compliance with Saudi Aramco standards. The ideal candidate will lead field operations, ensure technical accuracy, and maintain the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise preventive maintenance (PM) activities for custody metering skids
Coordinate with Saudi Aramco representatives for approvals and scheduling
Review and approve calibration, proving results, and GC validation
Conduct flow computer audits and configuration verification
Ensure compliance with SAES, SAEP, and SAMSS standards
Review and approve final reports and technical documentation
Troubleshoot and resolve metering system issues
Ensure strict adherence to safety and permit-to-work procedures
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation, Control Engineering, or related field
Minimum 7 years of experience in custody metering systems
Strong experience in metering skid operations and maintenance
Knowledge of calibration procedures and troubleshooting techniques
Aramco approval is mandatory
Technical Expertise
Flow Meters: Ultrasonic, Turbine, PD, Coriolis
Flow Computers: OMNI, ROC, ABB, Yokogawa
Gas Chromatographs (GC)
Transmitters: Pressure, Temperature, Density
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation, Control, or Electrical Engineering
7–10 years of experience in oil & gas industry
Minimum 5 years in custody metering systems
Experience with Saudi Aramco projects is preferred
Strong knowledge of calibration and proving
