Technical Designer (Apparel Printing)

Responsible for the full lifecycle of garment decoration. You will transform creative concepts into high-quality physical products by mastering the technical requirements of vector and raster design, ensuring every print and stitch is executed with precision.

Key Responsibilities
Vector Illustration (Adobe Illustrator): Create and clean up logos, convert hand-drawn sketches into scalable vectors, and manage color separations for screen printing.

Image Manipulation (Adobe Photoshop): Edit high-resolution graphics, handle complex color grading for DTG printing, and create realistic digital mockups for client approval.

Embroidery Digitizing: Translate AI/PSD files into embroidery-compatible formats (like .DST or .PES), selecting appropriate stitch paths and densities.

Technical Pre-Press: Prepare files with proper bleed, trapping, and registrations. Ensure that font outlines and stroke weights meet the physical limitations of embroidery needles and screen meshes.

Production Oversight: Operate or manage the output for T-shirt printing (Screen/DTG/Heat Press) and embroidery machines to ensure color matching and quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite: Specifically Illustrator (for vectorizing and paths) and Photoshop (for textures and photo-realism).

Technical Embroidery Knowledge: Understanding how to digitize for different fabrics (hats vs. hoodies vs. polos).

Garment Decoration: Hands-on experience with ink types, thread weights, and curing temperatures.

Attention to Detail: Ability to spot a 1px alignment error before it goes to the production floor.
