Role: Project?Cost?Control?Engineer-Insulation
Location: Riyadh
Project Planning Scheduling
Prepare detailed insulation project schedules
Develop manpower histograms, material forecasts, and work-front plans specific to insulation
activities.
Coordinate with construction and planning teams to align insulation schedules with overall project
milestones.
Cost Control & Budgeting
Monitor project costs related to insulation materials, labor, and subcontractors.
Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and variance analyses and Interim Payment Certificates
Evaluate change orders, variations, and claims related to insulation scope of work.
Support project management in budget control and cost optimization.
Progress Monitoring & Reporting
Track daily, weekly, and monthly progress of insulation works against the approved baseline schedule.
Measure physical progress quantities (m?, m?, LM, or weight-based measurements).
Prepare progress dashboards, KPI reports, and executive summaries.
Coordinate with site engineers to validate actual progress and productivity rates.
Coordination & Communication
Liaise with insulation subcontractors, procurement, QA/QC, and construction teams.
Ensure timely availability of insulation materials and accessories.
Participate in coordination meetings and provide planning and cost input.
Support interface coordination between insulation, piping, mechanical, and painting activities.
Risk & Change Management
Identify schedule and cost risks related to insulation work and propose mitigation strategies.
Assess the impact of delays, design changes, or material shortages on insulation progress.
Maintain records for claims, extensions of time (EOT), and variation orders.
Quality & Safety Support
Ensure insulation activities comply with project specifications, standards, and drawings.
Support implementation of quality plans and inspection schedules.
Promote compliance with safety policies and site safety requirements.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
JOB DESCRIPTION
Experience
3–8 years of experience in project control, preferably in insulation works.
Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, power, or industrial construction projects is highly preferred.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of insulation systems (hot, cold, acoustic, fireproofing).
Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
Familiarity with cost control systems, productivity tracking, and reporting.
Understanding of construction sequences and industrial project workflows.
Behavioral & Core Competencies

High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
Effective communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
