Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Installation and Setup: Installing, connecting, and testing components for ELV systems including security cameras, access control panels, intercoms, public address (PA) systems, and structured cabling.
Maintenance and Servicing: Performing regular preventative maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and repairing faulty devices. This includes cleaning, inspections, and firmware updates.
Programming and Configuration: Setting up and configuring electronic devices such as cameras, card readers, and control panels to meet operational requirements.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of work done, creating service reports, and updating as-built drawings for project documentation.
Site Supervision and Support: Reading blueprints, coordinating with project teams, and mentoring junior technicians, according to ELV Technician - Job Description and Firetech LTD.
