A leading company specializing in Rotating Equipment Maintenance and Manufacturing is seeking to hire a qualified Safety Officer to join its operations in Jubail.
Position: Safety Officer
Location: Jubail Workshop
Employment Type: Full-time
Iqama Status: Transferable Iqama is mandatory
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and monitor safety policies, procedures, and compliance programs
• Conduct daily site inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification
• Ensure adherence to company safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Deliver safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and emergency drills
• Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions
• Coordinate with supervisors and project teams to maintain a safe working environment
• Maintain accurate documentation of safety activities and compliance records
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
• Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
• Valid safety certifications (NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent)
• Proven experience as a Safety Officer in industrial/workshop environments
• Strong knowledge of Saudi safety regulations and best practices
• Good communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle emergency situations and ensure effective response
