Job Duties:
• Supervise a team of BBM and conveyor technicians providing guidance, training and support as needed.
• Schedule and prioritize installation, maintenance and repair tasks ensuring that conveyor systems and BBM systems are operating at peak efficiency and uptime.
• Perform electrical trouble shooting and root cause analysis of the conveyor systems and BBM equipment’s.
• Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying and addressing potential problems before they result in downtime or delays.
• Coordinate and perform all preventive maintenance activities that required for the material handling equipment’s and BBM equipment’s
• Collaborate with production and maintenance staff to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives, such as upgrading equipment or reconfiguring workflows.
• Manage inventory and supplies of spare parts, tools and equipment necessary for maintenance and repairs.
• Enhance the performance of current conveyor systems and BBM systems by making modifications that increase efficiency and throughput.
• Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, equipment histories and inventory reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations at all times.
• Participate in training and performance evaluations of conveyor technicians and BBM technicians.
Job Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent with additional vocational training in mechanics, electrical systems or a related field.
• Adequate years of experience in conveyor systems and BBM systems or a related field with demonstrated expertise in maintenance, repair and troubleshooting.
• Well knowledge in electrical trouble shooting, PLC, SCADA and VFD drives operations.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team of technicians.
• Possess knowledge in conveyor and BBM systems validation process mainly installation qualification, operational qualification and performance qualification.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to conveyor systems, BBM systems and other industrial machinery.
• Comprehensive understanding of the current market trends and conditions related to conveyor and BBM systems materials and electrical components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and other documentations.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, including belt tension measuring devices, bearing condition inspecting tools and electrical troubleshooting devices.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call as needed.
