Experienced in conducting inspections, preparing quality reports, and coordinating with supervisors and client inspectors to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety. Equipped with strong technical knowledge, practical field experience, and the ability to work efficiently in demanding site conditions
Key Responsibilities
1. Inspect surface preparation, environmental conditions, and coating application as per approved procedures
2. Verify surface profile, cleanliness, and coating thickness using appropriate instruments
3. Ensure materials (paint, thinner, abrasive) are approved and stored as per manufacturer recommendations
4. Review batch numbers, shelf life, and mixing ratios
5. Monitor curing and drying times according to product data sheets (PDS)
6. Prepare inspection reports, daily coating logs, and maintain QC documentation
7. Coordinate with painting supervisor and client inspector during hold/witness points
8. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at all times.
Qualification
BGAS Certification – Grade II
Graduation in Information Technology
Experience in coating inspection (Oil & Gas / Industrial projects – Pakistan & KSA)
Skills
1. Proficient in inspection tools (DFT gauge, surface profile gauge, hygrometer, etc.)
2. Strong reporting and documentation skills
3. Ability to read drawings, specifications, and ITPs
4. Good communication and coordination skills
