Experienced and performance-driven **Coating & Painting QC Inspector** with more than 6 years of proven experience in the Oil & Gas industry, specializing in pipeline, plant, and industrial coating inspection projects within Saudi Arabia.
Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering along with **BGAS Grade 2 Certification**, NEBOSH, and IOSH qualifications, with strong expertise in coating inspection, surface preparation, painting supervision, quality assurance, and compliance with international and client standards.
Currently employed with CAT International LLC and experienced in working on major industrial and pipeline projects under high-quality and safety requirements.
Core Expertise & Responsibilities
* Coating and painting inspection as per project specifications, ITPs, and approved procedures
* Surface preparation inspection including blasting profile, cleanliness, and environmental monitoring
* Inspection of coating application activities including primer, intermediate, and final coating systems
* DFT, WFT, adhesion, holiday detection, and environmental testing using calibrated instruments
* Monitoring coating activities in accordance with ASTM, SSPC, NACE, ISO, and Saudi Aramco standards
* Preparation of QA/QC reports, inspection records, punch listing, and documentation control
* Coordination with clients, contractors, and third-party inspectors during inspections and approvals
* Ensuring compliance with HSE standards and project quality requirements
* Supervision of coating crews and site activities to maintain workmanship quality and productivity
Project & Approval Experience
* Approved by Air Products as Coating QC Inspector and Coating Supervisor
* Experience in Royal Commission Jubail pipeline and plant projects
* Strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco coating systems and specifications
* Experience in both onshore field projects and plant environments
