Key Responsibilities: Design, install, and maintain CCTV and Access Control Systems, ensuring their functionality and security. Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades on CCTV and ACS hardware and software. Conduct site assessments to determine the best placement of cameras and access control devices. Collaborate with project managers and other engineering teams to integrate systems effectively. Maintain documentation and records related to installations, configurations, and maintenance. Provide technical support and training for end-users and facility management teams. Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations regarding surveillance and data protection Regularly review security systems to identify opportunities for improvement and upgrades.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in CCTV and Access Control Systems engineering. Strong understanding of CCTV technology, installation practices, and related software. Proficient in configuring and managing networked security systems. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Certifications related to CCTV or ACS are a plus.
Working Conditions: Role may require working outside of standard hours on occasion for installations and upgrades. Site visits may be required for assessments and installations.
