Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled BMS Technician to perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Building Management Systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background and experience in various BMS components, ensuring efficient operation and compliance with operational standards.
Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS) including HVAC, lighting controls, and other building automation technologies. Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on BMS equipment and systems. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Collaborate with other technical teams to optimize system performance and facilitate upgrades. Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, maintenance activities, and service reports. Train facility personnel on the proper operation and maintenance of BMS systems as needed. Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices associated with BMS operations.
Qualifications: Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in BMS installation and maintenance. Strong understanding of HVAC systems, lighting controls, and building automation. Proficient in BMS software and hardware troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving skills with hands-on technical expertise. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management. Relevant industry certifications (e.g., BMS, HVAC certifications) are preferred.
Working Conditions: Occasional on-call duty may be required for urgent
maintenance needs.
