Key Responsibilities
Perform all embryology laboratory procedures including IVF, ICSI, embryo culture, grading, freezing, and thawing
Handle gametes and embryos according to established protocols and regulatory standards
Prepare and maintain culture media and laboratory equipment
Monitor embryo development and provide accurate documentation and reports
Assist physicians during oocyte retrieval and embryo transfer procedures
Maintain strict laboratory quality control, hygiene, and safety standards
Ensure proper storage and tracking of biological samples
Participate in quality assurance programs and audits
Maintain detailed patient records and laboratory logs
Stay updated with advancements in embryology and ART techniques
Work closely with doctors, nurses, and laboratory staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Embryology, Biology, Biotechnology, or related field
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in an IVF/ART laboratory (Senior roles require more experience)
Hands-on experience with IVF, ICSI, cryopreservation, and embryo assessment
Strong attention to detail and excellent laboratory skills
Knowledge of quality control standards and ART regulations
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Good English communication skills (Arabic is an advantage)
Eligibility for licensing in Bahrain (preferred)
