5D Engineering Consultancy Company is looking for a qualified Mechanical / HVAC Technician to support inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of HERR Extraction & Filtration Systems / industrial fume extraction machines.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance, HVAC, ventilation, dust collection, or fume extraction systems.
Experience with industrial fans, ducting, extraction arms, filter housings, dust collectors, dampers, flexible hoses, and airflow systems.
Able to inspect, clean, service, and troubleshoot cartridge filter systems and dust collection equipment.
Familiar with compressed air systems, including air regulators, pressure gauges, valves, hoses, condensate drainage, and leakage checks.
Able to identify and report issues such as weak suction, blocked ducting, air leakage, abnormal vibration, abnormal noise, damaged flexible hoses, loose supports, and dust leakage.
Able to support filter cartridge replacement, dust container cleaning, dust bag replacement, and basic mechanical servicing.
Able to use basic hand tools, spanners, screwdrivers, pressure gauges, airflow meters, and inspection tools.
Able to read equipment manuals, maintenance procedures, inspection checklists, and simple mechanical drawings.
Familiar with safe work practices, including Permit to Work, Lockout/Tagout, working at height, PPE use, and dust exposure control.
Experience with HERR Model 610 or similar industrial extraction/filter systems is preferred.
Main Work Scope
Perform planned preventive maintenance for HERR extraction machines.
Inspect extraction arms, ducting, filter housing, fan section, dust collector, and compressed air cleaning system.
Check air pressure, leakage, suction performance, filter condition, and dust container condition.
Clean accessible parts and support replacement of consumables as required.
Record findings with photos and report any required spare parts or corrective actions.
General Requirements
Previous experience in industrial workshops, welding areas, factories, or training institutes.
Able to work during weekends or after working hours when required.
Able to follow site safety rules and client procedures.
Transferable Iqama is preferred.
