You will design, review, and supervise fire protection systems for buildings and industrial projects, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and international standards (NFPA).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design fire protection systems (sprinklers, pumps, hydrants, alarms, suppression)
Prepare hydraulic calculations and shop drawings
Obtain Civil Defense approvals (pre-approval, final certification)
Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC) and Saudi Aramco standards (SAES)
Supervise site installation, testing, and commissioning
Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and authorities
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
- 5+ years total fire engineering experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in Saudi Arabia (mandatory)
- Proven track record of obtaining Civil Defense approvals
Working knowledge of:
- NFPA (13, 14, 20, 72, 101)
- Saudi Building Code (SBC Fire & Life Safety)
- Saudi Aramco standards (SAES-S-100, etc.)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (Navisworks a plus), and hydraulic calculation software
- Arabic language is a strong advantage (for Civil Defense correspondence)
Preferred (Nice to have)
- CFPS, PE, or CEng certification
- Experience on giga-projects (NEOM, Red Sea, ROSHN, Diriyah Gate)
- Knowledge of foam, deluge, water mist, or gas suppression systems
