Job Summary: We are looking for a qualified FAS Technician with over 5 years of experience to join our team under a service contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for the
installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems and associated safety
equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure fire alarm systems in compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of fire alarm systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty fire alarm equipment and systems.
- Perform testing and certification of fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Respond to service calls and emergencies related to fire alarm systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding fire safety regulations and system operation.
- Document all service activities and maintain accurate records of inspections and repairs.
- Collaborate with engineers and safety personnel to improve fire alarm system design and effectiveness.
- Assist in training staff and clients on the proper use and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in installing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm codes, standards, and regulations.
- Familiarity with various fire alarm systems and equipment from different manufacturers.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
